Steps & Instructions for using Harex
Using Harex device is easy because it is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive. Harex is a medical device that is placed just below the head of the penis and through gentle pressure on the urethra, stops the flow of urine, preventing and controlling involuntary leaks.
Harex® is made of medical grade plastic materials and tested not to absorb liquids. It does not contain metallic elements, which allows passing through metal detection systems (i.e. those used in airports or train stations).
The set includes a plastic case (washable) for transporting and/or storing the device.
Move the lever down. Loosen the belt.
Introduce the penis into the Device.
Move the pressure activator down.
Move the lever up to fix the strap.
Move the pressure activator up.
Move the pressure activator down.
Once fnished, move the pressure activator to the initial position.
Adjust the belt to the contour of the penis.
Release the adjustment lever and loosen the belt; remove the penis from the Device
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS OF HAREX DEVICE
- It is recommended to rest the penis during sleeping hours by removing Harex® In case overnight use of Harex® is necessary, loosen the strap to a lighterpressure.
- Incorrect and/or excessive use of Harex® may cause skin irritation and/or discomfort and/or slight pain.
- In case of discomfort and/or slight pain, make sure that the device is correctly placed. Also, ensure there are no creases in the skin of the penis. In case of continued discomfort, try a looser fit.
- Do not use Harex® if you have open wounds and/or cutaneous irritation on the skin of the penis.
- In case of repeated urethral strictures, consult your doctor before using Harex®.
- For efective use, the length of the penis shaft should be >2 cm.
