BlauGlue®

BlauGlue® Topical Adhesive is a medical device formulated as a skin adhesive for wound closure. It is a non-cytotoxic, fast-polymerizing liquid based on methyl methacrylate monomer.

When applied, the viscous liquid rapidly polymerizes to securely bond the approximated edges of skin wounds within minutes. In vitro studies have demonstrated that BlauGlue® acts as a bacterial barrier for as long as the protective film remains intact.
